Training Series: Making Digital Organizing Accessible
Join Community Action Works at our monthly training series. This month will feature Diane Peel, Director of Newport Wireless Mesh, Rachael Thompson, Executive Director of the Glynn Environmental Coalition, and Elders Climate Action.

The importance of technology skills has been growing over the past decade, but the global pandemic put us on the spot and revealed some of the inequalities in digital literacy and access. This past year, much of our activism has shifted away from in-person and to the internet. Even as more of us are getting vaccines, it’s clear that some of our work will continue online. What are some lessons community leaders have learned this year from this shift? What are the best tools, teachings and practices for ensuring involvement from low-digital literacy and low-digital access folks can still engage in building community, weighing in on government decisions and building power for change.
